They at least referenced three other brands.

Chevy = Not bad.
Dodge = Oh yea!
GMC = I like it.
Ford = *Sounds of energy drink flying out of my mouth at speed* ...and now I need a new keyboard. Thanks.

So the ford wins by merit of not being bro'd out?

For Ford fans, such as myself (I'm not a fan of excessive, impractical lifts):

Read that article (maybe you have already), Raptors can jump just fine... Within the limits they were designed to handle.

Damn, it's gonna be a pain in the ass to lift that cab when the 6.0 blows it's gaskets on that RV.

I've seen shops actually do that very quickly, I don't think it's too bad a job with a car/truck lift. It does however suck that these engines tend to blow their gaskets. But there are fixes out there for it aren't there? I wouldn't be surprised if they fixed this one up.

Yeah, to get one bulletproofed by a shop, you're looking at 8 to 10k. On top of that, if I was putting all that extra weight on there, I would build the transmission and upgrade the diffs to play it safe, which would be another 5k.

8-10K sounds a little steep for me. From what I'm reading here and there, it's expensive, but not 8-10K expensive for HG replacement, APR studs and a number of other "bulletproofing" mods.
At the end of the day I'd still avoid this engine more-so than any other diesel Ford has put in its trucks.

1000 just for studs, not including labor. EGR delete or upgrade, up to 800 without labor, tunes to run without EGR, up to 1000. Gaskets, up to 300 without labor. That isn't even all the needed parts, and that's not including labor.

I'd say they're just doing spark plugs on the Ford, but the frame is still attached to the cab.

Studs, from a quick search online are half that., a kit including an upgraded oil cooler, gaskets and egr delete is ~$1300...
The labor you would want done by a reputable shop, that I have no idea what it would cost. And perhaps there are more parts you'll need, but still...

Depending on what level ARP studs you get, you can go over 1000. My estimate was a little steep, but on average it is about 6k. Personally I would go higher, because I would want a bit more performance.
